Chili


Ingredients
1 yellow onion, chopped and sauteed
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 (16 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 (16 ounce) cans chili beans
2 (16 ounce) cans great northern beans, drained
1 (7 ounce) can chopped green chilies
1 cup water
2 tablespoons chili powder
3/4 teaspoon pepper
jalapenos, to taste


Directions
  • Add all of the ingredients to a slow cooker. Place on warm or low and cook all day. (The longer it cooks, the better. But don't cook more than about 12 hours- your beans will get mushy!)

Servings: 12-14 bowls
